What Nomi tells you about, where it appears, and how unread works.
Last updated 4 October 2026

Nomi tells you about the things that happen to you rather than in front of you: an invitation to a company, a brand you have been given, an invitation of yours being answered, a rule on your ad account finding something, a brief Nomi drafted for you, and a bug report you filed moving on. They arrive quietly, in one list you open yourself. Nothing interrupts the screen you are working on.
Where they live
The unread count sits on your own face. Your avatar is at the foot of the rail, and a small blue dot appears on it the moment something is waiting.
Press your avatar to open the account menu, then Notifications, and the list opens: what happened on the first line, what it happened to underneath, and how long ago on the third. With nothing waiting it says you are all caught up.
Notifications follow your account, not the brand you are looking at. An invitation from one company still reaches you while you are working in another.
What Nomi tells you about
An invitation, and a brand you were given
An invitation to join a company arrives here as well as in Settings, then Team, naming who asked and which company. Nothing of yours is shared with anybody until you accept it. Being given a brand inside a company you are already in applies straight away, so that one is a line telling you it happened. If somebody you invited declines, you are told that too, so you know rather than wonder.
Being added to a space sends nothing
Somebody adding you to a space, or handing a session to the whole team, does not send you anything today. The space turns up in the Agent's sidebar under Spaces and its sessions in Recents, which is the only notice you get.
A rule that found something
A rule on an ad account writes you a line when it matches: which rule, which object, and the arithmetic behind it. Opening it takes you to that object on Campaigns, where you either apply what the rule wants or dismiss it.
A rule that acts on its own tells you afterwards what it did, and the same row takes you to where you can undo it.
A brief Nomi drafted
If you own the company and Campaigns is on for you, Nomi reads the brands you follow every night, and your own ads once an ad account is connected. When it finds something worth answering, it writes a campaign brief in a new session and tells you here: a brand you follow starting several new ads, a hook one of them has kept paying for, a product of yours with no ad yet, one of your ads wearing out, or a test of yours that has ended.
It proposes at most two a week for each brand. The line opens the session, where nothing renders until you approve the brief. If it is not worth doing, press Dismiss beside the line and the row says it was dismissed.
A bug report you filed
A report you sent moves through our hands, and each move that concerns you sends a line: when we start on it, and when it is resolved or closed another way. The first part of what you wrote comes with it, so you know which report is being talked about when you have filed several.
Feedback you follow
Press Follow updates on a public feedback request to receive a notification when its status changes or the Nomi team replies. Posting a request or a comment follows that discussion automatically. Press Following to stop future notifications for it.
These notifications appear in your app account menu and in the community portal's Notifications. Opening the community list marks only the community notifications shown there as read, leaving other app notifications alone.
Unread and read
Opening the list marks everything in it read at once, and the dot on your avatar clears with it. Apart from a drafted brief's Dismiss, there is nothing to answer line by line, and nothing is deleted: the rows stay, and the dot beside a title is only there to show you what was new when you opened it.
The list holds your twenty most recent notifications. Older ones drop off the end.
