Downloading and exporting
Getting finished ads out of Nomi, and what the files are called.
Last updated 25 September 2026

Everything you make stays in the Library until you take it somewhere. What leaves is the full-size picture the engine rendered, not the lighter copy the screen draws.
Save one creative
Point at a creative anywhere it appears, open the ... menu on the card, and press Download. The same Download sits in the top bar while a creative is open in the editor.
The row is dimmed when there is no picture behind the card yet: a draw still running, or one that failed, has nothing to hand over.
Save several at once
Point at a card and a circle appears in its top-left corner. Tick as many as you want and a bar rises along the bottom with Download on it.
One ticked creative saves as the picture. Two or more arrive as a single zip file, which is deliberate: a burst of separate saves makes the browser interrupt with an "allow multiple downloads" question. Each archive holds up to fifty creatives. Larger selections download as numbered archives. Two pictures that would land on the same name inside one archive get numbered.
What you get
A creative saves at the shape and the size it was rendered at. There is no size menu and no format menu on the way out: Nomi keeps one original per creative and gives you that. For another shape, reframe it in the editor and download the result, which is a fresh draw and spends credits.
Name your files
Open Settings, then Account and Files. The field there names every saved file, so a picture is called the same thing whether it left on its own or inside an archive.
The same name is written across the top of every card, in the Library and on a session's canvas, so you can read what a picture will be called before you save it. The card leaves the id off the end, because it is the one part of the name your pattern does not decide.
The default is the creative's first line followed by its aspect ratio. Press a chip to add a token: brand, product, market, angle, title, aspect, date. A token with nothing behind it is dropped, and the dashes around it go with it. The product and market tokens are filled in whenever Nomi could tell which one an ad was for, which is every ad in a brand that sells one thing and every resize of one. The angle token is offered ahead of the data and leaves nothing behind today. The line under the field previews the name you will get.
The creative's id is always on the end and cannot be removed. Until Nomi publishes to Meta for you, that id is the only thing tying an ad you uploaded by hand back to the creative that made it.
Briefs and other documents
Open a document to edit its text directly. Edits save periodically, including while you keep typing in the same paragraph or table cell. Temporary save failures retry while the document stays open. If a conflict notice appears, copy or download your edits before reopening it.
The open document’s ... menu copies or downloads your latest edits as Markdown. If copying fails, try again or use Download.
A brief in the Files tab saves its last saved version as Markdown, from the same ... menu, or from the selection bar when several are ticked. Those go one at a time rather than as an archive. Export to Google Docs is on the menu and does nothing yet.
