Finding a creative
Search, filters and column count in the Library, and where versions hide.
Last updated 1 October 2026

The Library holds the active brand’s creatives from every session, uploaded files, and the briefs Nomi writes. Switching brands loads that brand’s Library and clears the previous brand’s selection. It is one long grid, and there are three ways to cut it down to the thing you are after.
The Library's sidebar splits it by kind: Images, Video where video is switched on for your account, and Files. Under them, Recently opened lists the last six creatives or documents you opened from the Library for this brand, newest first, in this browser. Point at a row and an ✕ takes it off the list.
Search
The field sits at the left of the top bar, and on a phone it is behind the ⋯, as Search the library. It reads two things: the name of the creative and the name of the session it came from.
Words are matched one by one rather than as a phrase, so summer shoe finds a creative called shoe-summer-04. A creative is named after the opening of the prompt that made it, until you rename it on the card.
The name written across the top of a card is the filename that creative saves as, built from the pattern in Settings, Account, Files. Search reads the other name, the prompt's own opening or whatever you renamed it to, so the two can differ if your pattern does not include the title.
mod + K opens the same search from anywhere in the app, over your sessions, the Library and your collections at once.
Filters
The Filters button stands at the right of the bar. It opens a list of questions, one screen each:
- Aspect ratio: any of the fourteen shapes Nomi draws, from a 1:3 skyscraper to a 3:1 banner, plus the 1.91:1 link landscape an upload can arrive at.
- Language: whichever languages the creatives on screen are written in, each named in full.
- Session: whichever sessions the creatives on screen came from.
- Source: generated by Nomi, or uploaded by you.
- Date: any date, today, this week, this month, this year, all time, a named month, or a span you pick off a calendar.
Two answers inside one question widen the results. Answers across two questions narrow them: portrait and German shows portrait German ads only. The button fills in and carries a count while anything is on; Clear all at the foot of the panel turns everything off, the date included.
The filters belong to Images. On Files the panel offers the date and the columns alone, and Video adds the archive switch to those.
How many columns
At the bottom of the same panel: minus, a slider, plus, anywhere from two to eight. It is an account preference rather than a Library setting, so the grid inside a session follows it too. On a narrow window, or beside an open conversation, the grid draws fewer columns than you asked for rather than shrinking the cards past readable.
Versions sit on one card
An ad and its later edits are one card with small faces along the bottom. Click a face and the family opens on its own, every version as a full card, and a back arrow, the ad's name and its count of versions take the place of the search field. Filters read through the faces, so filtering to story shape keeps a family that holds one, even when the card on top is square.
If the grid ends up empty, Nothing matches appears with one button that drops the search, the filters and the date together.
Archive and restore
Use Archive in a creative’s three-dot menu to tidy your active grid while keeping the file, copy and history. Choose Archived in the status filter in the Library or session grid to see archived cards. Each has an Archived label and a Restore action. Archive applies to the selected creative, not its whole family or session.
With the menu open, A archives or restores and D opens the permanent-delete confirmation. If an archive request fails, the card stays available and Nomi shows an error so you can try again.
